Rosario (Rosie) Carbó is a former newspaper reporter whose work has appeared in many Texas newspapers, including The Dallas Morning News. Carbó is a former member of the Society for Professional Journalists, attended law school, and has won awards for some of her national and online publications. Maria Antonio y Sun Retonios: Legacies of Motherhood, based on the life of her beloved maternal grandmother, is her first book.
